Terms & Conditions

The following specifies the terms and conditions for Le Pont Café & Catering. These terms and conditions are exclusively for use of this website and shops of the company: –

1- User Privacy:

Le Pont Café & Catering respects the privacy of its users and visitors to this platform. The company shall not collect personal information about you while you access the website, unless specifically and willingly choose to provide such information to us. Should it require you to provide such information, we shall use such details only for obtaining products or services. By using this website, you approve and accept these terms and conditions for privacy. The collected personal information will be accessible only to the company who have a need to know it to deliver you the products or services. It will not be available for public consumption. In addition to this, no site user information will be shared or transferred to any third party without your prior consent. The company reserves the right to make any changes in privacy policy terms and conditions from time to time without any prior notice. If you continue using the portal after making any changes to the privacy policy, this means that you accept them.

2- Order Placement:

Payment scheme for your order is cash on delivery. Upon your order confirmation, you approve and accept that you fully understand that payment is expected upon the delivery of the company’s products or services. Mode of payments may be Bank Transfer, cash/debit/credit card upon pick-up for orders below AED500 or online via website.

 

3- Returns:

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you are entitled to a refund provided that Le Pont Café & Catering is notified within 4 hours of pick-up or delivery. The refund will be in the form of credit for the exact amount of the product/service returned for use towards a future purchase. The refund request will only be processed upon presentation of the receipt of the purchase and please do take note that it may be processed from five to seven business days.

4- Refunds:

 

Your purchase is final and non-refundable. However, there may be instances that we do refunds but is Subject to the other terms and conditions especially stated in Number 2 of this terms and condition. .

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Terms and Conditions, in the event Le Pont Café and Catering decides to refund to you, Le Pont Café and Catering will offer only credit vouchers equivalent to the refund amount but in some case Le Pont Café and Catering please take note of the following: a) Full details of the customer; b) Written approval and communication within the concern persons

 

“Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment”.

Le Pont Café and Catering is not responsible and does not guarantee refund for cases where:

  • Flowers, plants, fruits, sweets, gift products and preserved items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender.
  • Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the sender.
  • Decreased product quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender, or a re-route requested by the sender.
  • Product quality problems caused by improper handling by the recipient.

 

  • Exchanges

Le Pont Café and Catering will not accept any product exchanges.

Damaged/Defective Products

If any product received is damaged/defective condition, you should report the same to Le Pont Café and Catering within 12 hours of such delivery at +971 56742 7222 and e-mailing the photographs of the same at sales@lepontcafe.com  .  Le Pont Café and Catering in its sole discretion will either deliver to you the new product at its own cost or refund to you the amount in relation to such product. Subject to the Terms and Conditions, once refund is initiated by Le Pont Café and Catering, it takes 10-15 business days to reflect the refund amount in your account.

 

4- Decorations and Colouring:

Le Pont Café & Catering in its quest for perfection, has a professional cake decorator who always does their best to match any requested colour or design. However, their ability to meet your requirements is constrained as they are dealing with Sugar Paste and icing that can fade due to light and temperature, thus, Le Pont Café and Catering does not guarantee an exact match. Moreover, due to the nature of drawings, Le Pont Café & Catering will make its best representation of what is requested but is again limited by the nature of the product. Minor cropping may occur in order to fit image to cake/space available. Moreover, copyright images or pornographic images will not be printed.

 

5- Shipping:

Under no circumstances, Le Pont Café & Catering will take any responsibility of problems that may occur during the shipping process. Le Pont Café & Catering request customer to keep all delivered products in refrigerator. Le Pont Café & Catering would not take any responsibility of mishandling or any other problem that may take after delivered the product or product which already handover to customer.

In case of any product returns, customer is responsible to make necessary arrangements for shipping and may also make any incidental charges that are to be incurred in this regard.

6- Out of Stock Policy:

In order to ensure that customers receive best quality items, Le Pont Café & Catering prepares fresh cake items. This leads to stock fluctuation throughout the day. If an item is out of stock for some time, Le Pont Café & Catering will try to prepare it at its earliest. Just in case, if it is not possible for Le Pont Café & Catering then it reserves the right to decline any order.

7- Cancellation:

We accept cancellations by phone or email (sales@lepontcafe.com) 24 hours before your scheduled delivery or event. Le Pont Cafe reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee due to costs incurred in the purchase, priority and preparation of the order as follows:

 

*25% of the entire order will be charged for cancellations 24 hours prior to the event/scheduled delivery

 

*100% of the entire order will be charged for cancelling the order after that time.

 

*It is entirely up to Le Pont Cafe discretion, to change or otherwise offer any other options to the customer.

8- Information Sharing:

In connection with customers’ orders, Le Pont Café & Catering collects uses and processes personal information of the client. The information received from the client is used only for the purpose of business. This information is used by staff members, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies and other parties as and when required for processing your business orders only.

 

9- Account Information:



 – United Arab Emirates is our Country of Domicile. The Laws of the United Arab Emirates shall govern the use of the Site and the Terms of Use, without regards to conflict of laws principals. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E.


 – We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards in AED for its products


 – We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC sanctioned countries


 – Customers who are Minor /under the age of 18 using the website shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website


 – Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules


 – User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account
